Parent Ambassadors
The Parent Ambassadors are separate from the Education Commission, which is the voice of the parishes and primary advisory body to the President and Dean in the implementation of the educational program. The Parent Ambassadors are neither a governing body nor a formal advisory body to the school system.
Specific duties and functions include:
- Make new families feel welcome through personal emails and phone calls and invitations to class events.
- Build class cohesiveness by maintaining a social media page and planning gatherings for their class cohort.
- Collaborate with the Parent Ambassadors from other class cohorts through attendance and active participation at monthly meetings.
- Promote effective communication between the school and parents/families by sharing important information to their class, while also bringing questions and constructive feedback to MACS leadership from the parents/families in their class.
- Act as a brand ambassador for MACS, communicating a positive image of the schools in alignment to mission and vision.
